Category talk:Pi with Machin's formula

I think it might make sense to have a visually distinct box for the general summary of the topic, with links to all the specific implementations, Wikipedia pages, etc. Perhaps the software could be tweaked to recognize these introductions and place them above the article's H1 heading? Or maybe this isn't a good idea at all... but I felt that I had to try it out :-) Fredrik 13:44, 5 March 2006 (PST)

My initial idea was for this stuff to go on the category page, which works out nicely because it already has links to the implementations. On the other hand, it can be nice (especially for people dropping in from Google) to view the summary together with the implementation. We might transclude the category page into the articles. Hey Fredrik. I decided to move this content into the category, because I didn't want a redundant list of implementations and it seems like a nice logical place and can still be transcluded (albeit without the list). The list is still a click away via the category at the bottom though, and we could even link the category from itself (as odd as that sounds).
