You say "This is an example of basic input output handling from the compiler examples (source distrib)". Are you saying this was taken from an online source? If so I'd like to verify that it's compatible with LP's license. Do you have a URL? Thanks. Deco 21:25, 14 April 2006 (PDT)

I just checked, and the cat.m file in the source distribution (ftp://ftp.mercury.cs.mu.oz.au/pub/mercury/beta-releases/0.13.0-beta/mercury-compiler-0.13.0-beta-2006-04-03-unstable.tar.gz) contain a note placing it in the public domain. Ahy1 03:02, 15 April 2006 (PDT)
* This note about the public domain is included in the article page, at the "Enclosed module" chapter, so it will appear at the top of the downloaded file. Do you want it to be specified at the top of the article page ?. -- Here is a URL about the Mercury software license (GNU-GPL) -- This example does not appear in any online page. In fact Mercury examples on the web are very scarce, even at the language main site. Griba2010 14:10, 15 April 2006 (CET)
