Hi, Cpjobling, and welcome to LiteratePrograms! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a couple of tips for newcomers:

  • If you haven't done so already, please take a look at how to write an article on LiteratePrograms. The markup is basically the same as that used on Wikipedia, but there are a few differences of which you should be aware.
  • Please try to include a descriptive edit summary with every edit you make.
  • Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date.

I hope you enjoy editing here! If you need help, post a question on the Public forum, ask Deco (the site creator), or just ask me on my talk page.

P.S. Thanks for getting a few more of the "knows language" categories filled in. --Allan McInnes (talk) 16:15, 28 May 2006 (PDT)

[edit] URLs and working on standard Apache

I've made some changes to permit running LP out-of-the-box on standard Apache, see my reply to your post on my talk page. Thanks for raising this issue. Deco 11:37, 24 February 2007 (PST)

[edit] Question from student

Hi I'm a student currently working on an image-proceesing project (using Matlab). I need some general introduction to the use of pointers in matlab code (m-files etc.). Can you provide me with some info or some link where as to where i can find them thanks, srivatsa

Matlab doesn't have pointers! Why would you need them?
