Hey, I noticed your Turing machine simulator (Ruby) translation. I factored some parts out into a template that didn't involve code (code doesn't work with templates yet). I'm surprised how well Ruby lends itself to the problem of simulating a Turing machine - the growable arrays with default values are quite nice. There still seem to be some errors running it, but you seem to be working them out - tell me if you encounter any technical problems due to the wiki. Thanks again for your contribution. Hi, Lukfugl, and welcome to LiteratePrograms! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a couple of tips for newcomers:
- If you haven't done so already, please take a look at how to write an article on LiteratePrograms. The markup is basically the same as that used on Wikipedia, but there are a few differences of which you should be aware.
- Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date.
- Me too, great idea. I'd be annoyed if I download and built the code only to find out it doesn't work and I was expecting it to. Deco 11:52, 3 March 2006 (PST)
